From 2017 to 2020, I served as Head of Design at eye4talent, contributing to the design of a talent development platform built specifically for sports clubs. The platform was designed to modernize how clubs nurture athletes and build winning teams, uniting players, coaches, scouts and management in one connected system.
The challange
Sports clubs, regardless of size, faced the same recurring problems when it came to talent development
- Fragmented Player Development: Athletes had little visibility into their own progress, with no unified way to track growth, set goals or access personalized development resources.
- Scattered Data & Documentation: Club data and player records lived across disconnected files and systems, making information difficult to access or trust.
- Accessibility Gap: Existing talent development tools were often priced out of reach for smaller clubs, limiting the benefit to well-funded organizations only.

A UNIQUE 360° SOLUTION Designed a player-facing experience that put athletes at the center of their own development journey, allowing them to track progress, set goals and access personalized resources.
CENTRALIZED DATA & DOCUMENTATION Designed a secure, centralized system for club data and documentation, replacing scattered files with a single accessible source of truth.
AFFORDABLE, SCALABLE DESIGN Worked within pricing and platform constraints to ensure the product remained accessible to clubs of all sizes, not just larger, well-resourced organizations.

Worked within pricing and platform constraints to ensure the product remained accessible to clubs of all sizes, not just larger, well-resourced organizations.
RESULTS & IMPACT
The platform became embedded in the Danish football talent development ecosystem, used by licensed clubs as part of their official club licensing requirements for scouting and individual player development.

Eye4Talent also partnered with Danish media to produce analysis on the value of structured talent development, in dialogue with the Danish Football Association's (DBU) work on modernizing club licensing standards.

Beyond Denmark, the platform's approach to unifying player, coach and scout workflows laid the foundation the company later built on: eye4Talent went on to form a strategic partnership with KMD, one of Denmark's largest IT companies, to scale development and sales of the platform further.
